Excellent textbook. Presents the material in a very organized, logical manner, and in a way which makes it easy to understand Economics which makes it seem almost intuitive. Concepts are presented hand-in-hand with real world examples. Especially useful when used along with the available audio-visual material which is made to complement the text.
I really did not like economics during my undergraduate studies, but this book was perfect for my MBA course. Each chapter was about 5-15 pages and was filled with Professor Froeb’s first-hand experiences from his professional career. Furthermore, each chapter had back-up study material available online for support. This book really made me enjoy my economics and made it really easy to grasp the main subject matter. One of the MBA books that I plan on keeping.
I’m using this for a masters of management course and this book is not detailed enough in their problem solving examples. It’s written for someone who has taken several econ courses as pre-reqs.
